We’ve made it through the Great American Beer Festival (barring a meteorite hitting me as I type this, though I think there’s only a 41% chance of that). How was it? What happened? Calm down, we’ll get to that. We found ourselves surrounded by the strange brewing world of Denver. That’s right, we checked out Strange Brewing. Not only that, but a whirlwind tasting at Highland Tap and Burger featuring Odell Brewing Co. and Oskar Blues. Then, we headed to Wynkoop Brewing Company for the Pints for Prostates Rare Beer Tasting event. This is all before the festival. That’s right. We’re pros.

At the Great American Beer Festival we rubbed elbows with the likes of Pennsylvania’s Weyerbacher Brewing Co., Adam Avery and the gang from his namesake brewery in Colorado, the cool cats from Orange County’s The Bruery, Maui Brewing Co. from Hawaii, Jim Koch from Boston Beer Co., Kim Jordon from New Belgium Brewing and Heretic Brewing from Pittsburg, CA. All in all, a weekend worth remembering. Given our situation, we don’t remember much, but thankfully we have photographic evidence to help jog these memories.
