Magnolia Bakery Offering Passover Goodies, D.C. Gets Own Beer, U.S. Travel Association Wants Less Airport Hassle on The Scoop
- Los Angeles’ famed Magnolia Bakery and simplethings sandwich & pie shop will offer kosher Passover goodies (pictured above) as well as a Gluten-Free Passover menu with recipes from The Shiksa in the Kitchen from April 19 – 25.

- The 5 Alarm Firefighter’s Chili Cookoff will take place on April 20 from 12 – 4 PM at the West Hollywood Barney’s Beanery. Firefighters will compete for the chance to have their chili featured on the Barney’s Beanery menu for 90 days, with proceeds benefiting the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
- Colorado’s New Belgium Brewing announced the new summer seasonal Somersault Ale to debut in April.
- Hangar 24 announces the Hangar 3rd Anniversary Party date — Saturday June 11th, 12 – 7 PM
- Lost Abbey pushes the release date for 2011 Older Viscosity from April 23 to May 7.
