Cocktail Recipes for a Cool Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer and we have the fresh, fun drinks to keep you cool! Whether you are relaxing by the pool or flipping burgers on the grill, sip on something new this weekend and mix up one of these Memorial Day cocktails!
Blueberry Lavender Mojito
Ingredients
- 8-10 mint leaves
- 1 1/2 parts BACARDI® Superior Rum
- 1 oz. lavender syrup
- 1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
- 10-12 blueberries
- Pinch of ground Cardamom
- Club soda
In tall glass, muddle mint leaves, Lavender syrup, lime juice, blueberries, pinch of ground cardamom and rum. Muddle just enough to combine flavors, being careful not to over-muddle. Fill glass with crushed ice. Top with club soda. Stir. Garnish with blueberries on a cocktail pick.

Burn Relief
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. TY KU Sake Black
- 2 oz. Aloe vera juice
- Mint for garnish
Combine juice and sake in a shaker, add ice and shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Add sugar or coconut shavings to the rim and garnish with mint.

Gerber Group’s Patriotic Punch
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. Mount Gay Rum
- 1 1/2 oz. BACARDI® Silver Rum
- 1 oz. Guava juice
- 1 oz. Pineapple juice
- 1 oz. Cranberry juice
- 1/4 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/4 oz. agave nectar
- Orange slice for garnish
Mix ingredients and pour into a tall glass over ice. Serve with a straw.

Solstice
Ingredients
- 1 part BACARDI® Superior Rum
- 1/2 parts Ramazzotti Amaro
- 1/2 part simple syrup
- 1/4 part fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- 4 one-inch cubes ripe cantaloupe or Charentais melon
- Lemon twist for garnish
In the bottom of a shaker, muddle melon with simple syrup. Add all other ingredients and ice. Shake very well and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Twist a lemon rind over top.

Mainer Weekend Punch

Ingredients
- 4 oz. Allagash White Ale
- 1 oz. Lindeman’s Framboise Ale
- 1 oz. Hendrick’s Gin
- Raspberry for garnish
In a punch bowl, pour gin, slowly add Allagash White Ale and slowly add Lindeman’s Framboise. Serve over ice in punch glasses. Garnish with cut raspberry.

Heat Wave
Ingredients
- 2 parts BACARDI® Superior Rum
- 1 part fresh lime juice
- 3/4 part Simple Syrup
- Muddled jalapeño
- Club soda
In a shaker, muddle jalapeño. Add fresh lime juice, simple syrup and rum. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Top with club soda to taste. Garnish with floating jalapeño slice.

Four Roses Mint Julep
Ingredients
- 4 fresh mint sprigs
- 2 1/2 oz. Four Roses Bourbon
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- 2 tsp water
Muddle mint leaves, powdered sugar, and water in a collins glass. Fill the glass with shaved or crushed ice and add bourbon. Top with more ice and garnish with a mint sprig. Serve with a straw.

Cranium
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
- Cranberry juice
- Grenadine
- Blood orange for garnish
Pour Crystal Head vodka and cranberry juice over ice in a tall glass. Add splash of Grenadine (unstirred) on top. Garnish with blood orange slice.

Chambord Lemonade
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. Finlandia® Vodka
- 1/2 oz. Chambord Liqueur
- 3 oz. Lemonade
- Lemon wedge for garnish
Shake all ingredients with ice and pour into a tall glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

White Lotus
Ingredients
- 1 oz. TY KU Sake Silver
- 1 oz. Gin
- 3/4 oz. Lemon juice
- Muddled lemongrass and ginger
Combine all ingredients in a shaker, add ice and shake well. Strain into a martini glass.

Peach Perfect
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 parts BACARDI® Superior Rum
- 1 1/2 parts White peach puree
- 1/2 part fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 part Domaine De Canton Ginger Liqueur
- Club Soda
- Crystallized ginger or raspberries for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a shaker (except club soda) and shake with ice. Pour all contents (including ice) into a long glass. Top with club soda. Garnish with crystallized ginger or raspberries on a cocktail pick.

Sensai Sunset
Ingredients
- 2 oz. TY KU Sake Black
- 1/2 oz. Yuzu juice
- 1/2 oz. Lemon juice
- Club soda
- Crushed Raspberries
Mix sake, yuzu juice and raspberries. Pour into a tumbler over ice. Top with a splash of club soda and stir.

America’s Sweetheart
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. Blue Ice American Vodka
- 1/2 oz. Cointreau
- 1 oz. POM Pomegranate Juice
- 1/4 oz. fresh lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a shaker, add ice and shake well. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a mini-American flag.
