Refreshing Cinco de Mayo Drink Recipes
Tequila is synonymous with Cinco de Mayo. Celebrate May 5th by mixing up a classic margarita or something wild! We also have Cinco de Mayo recipes with sake, soju, Hpnotiq and more for the non-tequila drinker.
Triple Berry Margarita on the Rocks
(Makes 4 servings)
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) Driscoll’s Blackberries
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) Driscoll’s Raspberries
- 1 pkg. (16 oz.) Driscoll’s Strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar or to taste
- 6 oz. Casa Noble tequila
- 2 oz. Triple sec
- 4 oz. fresh lime juice
- Wedge of lime
(Pictured above) Purée berries in blender until smooth. Strain puréed berries through sieve into pitcher to remove seeds. A Chinois or a Colander may also be used. Add sugar to taste into pitcher. Add tequila, triple sec and lime juice into pitcher and stir. Prepare four glasses by rubbing rims with a wedge of lime and dip in salt. Add ice to glasses. Pour margarita mixture into four glasses and garnish with berries.
Mexican Summer
Ingredients
- 2 oz. TY KU Liqueur
- 1 oz. Silver tequila
- Squeeze of lemon
Mix and serve over ice.
Camarena Margarita
Ingredients
- 1 oz. Familia Camarena Reposado Tequila
- 2 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar
In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients and add ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Cabana Boy
Ingredients
- 1 oz. TY KU Liqueur
- 2 slices of jalapeno without seeds
- 2 slices of ginger
Gerber Group’s Lavender Margarita
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 oz. Don Julio Silver
- 1 oz. Parfait Amour orange liqueur
- 1/4 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/4 oz. simple syrup
- Lime garnish
Served up or over ice. Garnish with a lime.

Chambord Margarita Royale
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. Herradura Silver Tequila
- 3/4 oz. Chambord Liqueur
- 3/4 oz. pomegranate juice
- 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into margarita or martini glass. Garnish with raspberries.
Spanish TY-tini
Ingredients
- 2 oz. TY KU Soju
- 1 oz. orange juice
- 1/4 oz. tequila
Mix and serve in a martini glass.
Hpno-rita
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Hpnotiq
- 1 oz. White tequila
- Splash of lime or pineapple juice
- Lime wheel for garnish
In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients. Fill with ice, shake and strain into a margarita glass. Add salt or sugar to the rim. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Silver Paloma
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Familia Camarena Silver Tequila
- 3 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar
- Splash of soda water
In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients, except for the soda water, and add ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a high ball glass over ice. Top with soda water and garnish with a lime wheel.
Sake Sangria
Ingredients
- 2 oz. TY KU Sake
- Fresh seasonal fruits (Apple and berries work)
- Splash of agave nectar
Mix ingredients and pour over a high ball glass with ice.
Camarena Santa Maria
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. Familia Camarena Reposado Tequila
- 1 oz. white Port
- 1/2 oz. Velvet Falernum
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz. ginger beer
In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except ginger beer. Fill with ice, shake and strain into a high ball glass over ice, adding ginger beer as you pour. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

Siesta Bomb
Ingredients
- TY KU Silver Sake
- Corona Light
Fill shot glass with sake and a pint glass with beer. Leave enough room in the glass so that your sake-filled shot glass can be submerged in the beer without spilling any. Place 2 chopsticks (approximately a half an inch apart) over the larger glass. Put the shot glass on top of the chopsticks. Pound the table next to the glass with your fists until the chopsticks move apart and the shot glass falls into the beer.

TUACA Tropical Margarita
Ingredients
- 2 oz. TUACA Vanilla Citrus Liqueur
- 4 one-inch squares fresh pineapple, muddled
- 1 oz. Tequila Herradura Reposado
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- 1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
Muddle pineapple squares in a cocktail shaker and then add remaining ingredients with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
