Chaya Venice’s 20th Anniversary Party Brings All The Boys and Girls To The Yard

If you didn’t have fun at the Chaya Venice all you can eat and drink extravaganza, you’ll need to check on your fun-meter. If there were a mathematical formula for throwing good parties it would be:

It’s definitely not the Pythagorean theorem but that’s all I could come up with. Evidently, I didn’t go beyond grade school geometry.
It Wasn’t Even Happy Hour and People Were Happy
One of my priorities in life is to be happy and if happiness comes from a cuisine that blends European and Asian flavors from acclaimed Executive Chef Shigefumi Tachibe, then so be it. Did I also mention happiness comes from the Lobster Saffron Ravioli or a colossal tray of oysters and shrimp with cocktail sauce and lemons.
Every night should be an all night happy hour. Thankfully Chaya Venice offers just that. Yes, they do have a giant jug of pineapple infused vodka sitting on the bar. I am glad you asked. The pineapple infused vodka will be poured into your glass with other fresh juices to make the Juicy Infusion, a Chaya Venice happy hour staple. But don’t stop here – oh, no please do not. Try the Slingchi Martini made with vodka, lychee, and lemon. Eat the whole lychee in one big bite, and follow it up with small plates and sushi, ranging in prices from 2 to 13 dollars.
I’ve Never Seen The Movie Cocktail
Don’t be afraid, dudes, there were plenty of men enjoying these sweet cocktails. My grandpa always said if you couldn’t choose get both. Which explains why he was always in trouble with grandma. So I did just that, get in trouble with grandma. The Juicy Infusion is smooth with tropical flavors to compliment the sushi. The Slingchi Martini, served ice cold after the bartender shook, spun, flipped, and threw the shaker in the air was refreshing and delightful. It was enough booze to get me dancing to the house band and have grandpa be proud of me.
