Cast, crew and fans gathered at Vertical Wine Bistro in Pasadena, CA for the season one DVD release of the hit AMC series “The Walking Dead.” Good news — the show earned record ratings and is coming back for a second season!

Drinking with The Dead

“The Walking Dead” is produced by Gale Anne Hurd, who is also the owner of Vertical Wine Bistro. Her legendary producing credit include “The Terminator,” “Aliens,” and “The Abyss.”

Specialty cocktails were created for the event using character names from the show like Shane’s Betrayal made with Effen Vodka orange, lime juice, fresh simple syrup, and club soda and Merle’s Revenge made with Makers, muddled sugar cube, fresh orange slices, Marasca cherries, and dash of Angostura bitters.

Season two of will return sometime this October.
